Registration deadline: March 25, 2019
K-State Engineering Day will be held on Friday, April 5, 2019. We invite interested freshmen, sophomore, and junior students in high school to register to attend.
Engineering Day will benefit students who have not yet visited K-State or who want to learn more about engineering. In addition to giving these guests an in-depth look at the Carl R. Ice College of Engineering, we will be discussing career opportunities and the latest challenges in the field of engineering – energy, environmental protection, computing, information technology, robotics, construction, biotechnology, manufacturing, water, biomedical, etc.
Goals for the event are as follows:
7:30-8:30 AM |
Parking available in the upper levels of the parking garage at 17th Street and Anderson Avenue, immediately south of the Student Union. Parking permits will be issued via email when participants receive their confirmation of attendance (2 to 3 weeks prior to event). Please allow 20 to 30 minutes for parking. 8:00-9:30 AM | Check-in, Engineering Hall, K-State Carl R. Ice College of Engineering (southeast entrance). Light refreshments will be available. |
9:30-11:45 AM | Welcome/Engineering Career Session. |

11:45-1:00 PM | Lunch provided with K-State students and faculty. K-State Student Union Ballroom, 2nd Floor. |
